The extensive peer review process for each article was slow and lacked visibility. Documents were getting lost in email, and since a new version of a document was created each time it was emailed, the wrong versions were often sent out. Overall, NREL needed a secure, more organized review process.
SpringCM established a standard process for NREL to review and publish documents, reducing the time it takes to make research available to the public. Additionally, SpringCM provided a FedRAMP authorized platform that keeps this Government agency's documents secure.
Overall, SpringCM has saved NREL money, increased the efficiency of research reviews and added transparency across the organization and their partners.
