Collaboration can be achieved by working together on documents in either shared folders or Advanced Workflow; making comments using Pinpoint annotation; editing using file check-in or check-out; or circulating documents through Integrated E-mail Collaboration, a process that enables you to send documents to external users via e-mail and let SpringCM capture the edited documents external users attach in their e-mail replies.

Advanced View and Mark-Up facilitates collaboration on CADs and similar proprietary drawing formats. You can circle areas of concern, leave varieties of "stamps" (like directional arrows and names) and highlight points that need further development. Annotations are always viewable but are not saved in the actual document, ensuring an unaltered version is always available.
