SpringCM Names Christopher Junker CEO

September 8, 2010 — CHICAGO, IL — Former Autonomy Executive to Head Cloud Enterprise Content Management Leader

SpringCM®, provider of the award-winning cloud enterprise content management platform, announced today that Christopher Junker has been named chief executive officer of the company.  Junker has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently having served as CEO of Fios, Inc., a cloud e-discovery software company.

"More and more organizations are embracing cloud computing to achieve their business goals, and cloud-based management of document and workflow processes – traditionally addressed by legacy client-server applications - is a huge market opportunity. SpringCM is leveraging its market position into rapid growth,” said Bill Elmore general partner and founder of Foundation Capital, and SpringCM board member.

"SpringCM has a culture of customer success by focusing on high customer return on investment and by making enterprise content management simple with cloud computing," said Junker.  "I look forward to working with our customers, partners and team to change the way business areas such as contract management, bids and proposals, invoice automation and case management are addressed with cloud solutions that are easier to use, faster to implement and more affordable.”

Prior to SpringCM, Junker served as general manager of the iManage business unit for Autonomy.  Earlier he served as the general manager and worldwide vice president of sales for the legal and professional industry solutions (PSIS) team at Interwoven, which was acquired in 2009 by Autonomy Corporation plc in a transaction valued at approximately $800 million.  At Interwoven, he played a key role in leading the company through 21 consecutive quarters of year-over-year revenue growth and operating margin expansion.
